These terms apply to repair work carried out by Pontefract Smart Repair, operated by Mark, a sole trader based in Pontefract, West Yorkshire. Contact: 07931 021027.

Quotes given over the phone, by message or from photos are estimates based on the information provided. The final price may change if, on inspection, the damage is more extensive than first described. Any change will be agreed with you before work starts.

We aim to carry out every repair as soon as possible to keep our customers happy. We don't tie ourselves to a fixed timeframe — the time a job takes depends on the damage, paint type and weather conditions on the day. We'll always give you our honest best estimate when booking.

You can cancel or reschedule a booking by giving us a call. Please give as much notice as you can.

To carry out a repair we need access to your vehicle at our Pontefract workshop. The vehicle should be clean and dry in the area being repaired. We work indoors where possible; for repairs that require outdoor finishing, weather allows — in heavy rain or very cold conditions we may need to reschedule.

All repair work is carried out to the best standard achievable for the type of damage and the conditions on the day. Smart repair is a localised repair technique — the goal is an excellent cosmetic finish, not a full panel respray. Where a full panel respray would be the more suitable option, we'll say so.

If you're not happy with the finished work, let us know within 14 days and we'll come back and put it right where we reasonably can.

Payment is due on completion of the work unless we've agreed otherwise in advance. We accept bank transfer and cash.

We take great care with every vehicle we work on. We aren't liable for pre-existing damage, paint issues caused by previous repairs, or for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits any of your statutory rights as a consumer.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
